3rd.

B and I recently celebrated our 3 years together. No biggie, well for me, it is. It's the same number of years I studied in uni (and still end up working far off from what I've studied hah)!

I've always wanted to go to Montigo Resort! Heard and read a lot of good reviews about the place. It isn't far away from Singapore as well, so the term "short staycation" really describes how I celebrated us.

When we arrived the lobby, we were greeted with a sound of the gong, strongly guessing it's to welcome us hehe. A few of the staff were at the entrance to welcome us (giving us hand towel and a refreshing drink). It really felt nice :)

We spent most of the time just enjoying each other's company; playing at the private infinity pool overlooking the sea, cuddling on the super soft bed, having an amazing Javanese massage and a romantic dinner at Taad.

Will definitely be back again, one fine day.

Happy New Life

With a blink of an eye, I thank God I am safe and alive and able to step into year 2017.

No elaboration needed on what went on the year 2016. Hopping around from city to city is part of my job. But somewhere along the way, I became very demotivated with my job, myself and my life.

I am basically a useless bump when I am at base while others (e.g. my housemate) is out making new friends or doing something meaningful with life or exercise or just enjoying life. I don't know what happened, all I know is I lost the meaning of life. I feel like a robot in a human form. What I do know is that I am fully aware of how meaningless it is to do nothing but still I am doing nothing about it.

I hate myself for not doing anything progressive. I have dreams and ambitions to achieve but yet do nothing about it.

"A new year is just an excuse to make resolutions." You are damn right, girl.

For this time I will not let them be an excuse. I have wasted too much time and money.

"Forever Young."

I am.

Cheers to a new life.

Hello The US of A!

Greetings! I have been slacking in blogging again. But I guess my blog has become of a travel blog now haha. This time around, I am going to share my trip to San Francisco which is a few months back, and the City of Angels just a few days back.

Honestly, I did not explore San Francisco as much as I wanted to because there isn't anyone to bring me around. I know I shouldn't make this as an excuse, but I guess it's my first time there so I chose to go around the hotel vicinity and the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was perfect to cycle to the bridge (although I took an hour plus to cycle there and back, non stop). I went there before with my mum and my late grandmother when I was young. But it was different then because we took a bus. This time we only cycled up to the nearest point where we can take a decent photo of the bridge and, me of course. It was tiring, as we cycled uphill. But the pictures are worth it! See for yourself :)

Later, I went to the Fisherman's Wharf and had seafood. Then I strolled along Pier 39 while having Ben & Jerry's melting in my hand. As I took the tram back to the hotel, I saw magnificent view of the houses in the city, where they are built on top of hills and where the roads are winding up.

In Los Angeles, I met up with bestie Ivan. After two years of not seeing each other, nothing really change between us. He is still goofy as ever, just a little more vain on his appearance haha.

He drove me around and brought me to Third Street Promenade where street bands and performance are held alongside the shopping street. It would be a nice stroll if it wasn't for the chilly wind blowing through my bones.

The next day we went to see where the rich and famous hang out, although I did not bump into anyone I know. Beverly Hills was lovely. Sport cars everywhere!! <3 At night, we went to visit Hollywood. It was quite late around 10pm but there were still lots of people everywhere. This place never sleeps!

Thank you Ivan for the lovely trip in LA. Till then US of A :)

A Lake, Hungry Ducks, A Golf Course, Us.

My first overseas trip with B to NZ! We had a really fun time there with the rest of the set. Even though it was just 4 days together, but we feel like a family. All of us helped out to prepare breakfast/lunch/dinner and the food turned out YUMMY even with limited resources. We even took a short stroll while the sun sets behind us to a nearby deer farm. It was 18 degrees and the weather was perfect. I couldn't ask for more at that moment with B by my side.

Our room was facing the lake and further front is the golf course. A perfect land-lake-sky combination! Waking up with that view certainly makes you forget about everything in the world. Waking up with B beside me is the best feeling ever.

Take a look at our photo diary!
