Honestly, I did not explore San Francisco as much as I wanted to because there isn't anyone to bring me around. I know I shouldn't make this as an excuse, but I guess it's my first time there so I chose to go around the hotel vicinity and the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was perfect to cycle to the bridge (although I took an hour plus to cycle there and back, non stop). I went there before with my mum and my late grandmother when I was young. But it was different then because we took a bus. This time we only cycled up to the nearest point where we can take a decent photo of the bridge and, me of course. It was tiring, as we cycled uphill. But the pictures are worth it! See for yourself :)
Later, I went to the Fisherman's Wharf and had seafood. Then I strolled along Pier 39 while having Ben & Jerry's melting in my hand. As I took the tram back to the hotel, I saw magnificent view of the houses in the city, where they are built on top of hills and where the roads are winding up.
In Los Angeles, I met up with bestie Ivan. After two years of not seeing each other, nothing really change between us. He is still goofy as ever, just a little more vain on his appearance haha.
He drove me around and brought me to Third Street Promenade where street bands and performance are held alongside the shopping street. It would be a nice stroll if it wasn't for the chilly wind blowing through my bones.
The next day we went to see where the rich and famous hang out, although I did not bump into anyone I know. Beverly Hills was lovely. Sport cars everywhere!! <3 At night, we went to visit Hollywood. It was quite late around 10pm but there were still lots of people everywhere. This place never sleeps!
Thank you Ivan for the lovely trip in LA. Till then US of A :)
