Twenty14

It has been a "tradition" for me to recap on my year when it ends. But this "tradition" has long gone when I lost my mojo in blogging. So here I am once again, to share with the world, and also to remind myself my going-ons in 2014 :)

This year is where my life goes 180 degrees; a turning point. I started my first ever job just few months after graduating. Well, not really working, but I had training first for a couple of months. The experience I got, the people I met, everything is really different and unfamiliar. Being away from home, living with people you barely know (with really bad habits and personalities too), it is indeed a really tough time for a mummy's girl like myself. I needed more than half a year to get used to ALL of these. In fact, it's almost a year now and I am still getting a hang of all these, though times have improved a lot since training days.

In the midst of all the complains, the sighs, and all the unfamiliarity, there was this day, where I had a sudden thought of starting a conversation with a guy I've seen many times in the bus, who went to the same training school as me. More like because he was standing next to me in a crowded bus and it will be awkward not talking for that journey back home hehe. And that guy, is B.

B has really impacted my life a lot especially ever since I am here, as he is the only one as good as my family. Someone I can trust and share everything to. Someone I can hang out with whenever I am bored..you get the drift. Though we do not see each other as often as we used to anymore due to work, I am glad that he is still around.

This year, I have been to many places that I would never have thought of going in my entire life and I am glad that I can. Having my eyes open to the parts of the world that not many people have the chance to see, I am beyond thankful. Having said that, I didn't go through a silky smooth road to be where I am today. I've seen bad people, nasty people that made me doubt my abilities. There are also the nicest people I will never thought of meeting in my field of work. In a nutshell, I have and still am learning to be more patience. It's not JUST patience, but MORE patience. Coz' this job can be hell at times.

With my probation just ended, I hope others especially the seniors will have trust and respect in me with my job. I hope things at work will change for the better. For 2015, I hope my differences with B can be sorted out completely so as to make us stronger individually and also as a team. To my family, I hope nothing change, and my love for all of you still stays the same.

To 2015, bring it on.
